Over the past couple weeks, I’ve done a lot of flying. And that gave me an excuse to actually get through some books.

Project Hail Mary

While in Texas, the trailer dropped for the Project Hail Mary movie. So, seeing how I had a ton of time to kill, I decided to reread the book. It’s still fantastic.

Mickey7 & Antimatter Blues

Mickey7 is a good shorter book with a movie that I haven’t seen. It really felt like a setup and world builder for Antimatter Blues, a good setup that is. Antimatter Blues on the other hand, was really good. There was a point where if the author wasn’t going to do something, I wanted to find him, and kill him. And if you read the book, you know the exact part I’m talking about. Highly recommend.

We are legion (we are bob)

This feels like an old, 1970 classic hard science fiction book. But it isn’t, it came out in 2016. So it’s filled with StarTrek references. And is fantastic.

Really I’d say the less you know, the better. But if you like classic hard science fiction, give this one a look.
