I’ve been posting some of my photos on an internal discussion group at work for a bit. And someone told me to submit a couple of them to my local state/county fair. So I did that.

Fair Photos

Submitting to my local county fair wasn’t the most straight forward thing. Not overly surprising for a farm county. But I got everything how they wanted, filled out the paperwork, payed the $12 fee, and I was in. And in return, I got a “season pass”. Good for one entrance for every day of the fair¹, neat.

A few days later (after the fair opened), I went hunting for my photos.

They didn’t win anything, but I wasn’t aiming for that. It’s just pretty cool to see my work in a gallery. Even if I put them there.
