I feel like apple is slipping. I’m not talking about the new liquid glass design language¹, things just feel more buggy.

The other day, at the Air and Space Museum, Apple Pay wouldn’t open on my watch until after a restart. When I dock my mac, files on my desktop sometimes won’t show until I restart Finder. When I unlock my iPhone, the icons appear after the animation. And iOS is even lees consistent with using light/dark icons uniformly throughout the system. Hell, they’re light on my iPhone ², but dark when I use iPhone mirroring on my Mac.
